GAP INSURANCE- Statistics
There are various figures that we can "throw at you", like some of our competitors do regarding UK car crime, such as:
- A car is stolen every minute
- A third of these cars are never recovered
- UK Car Crime is a third of all crime
- Over 500,000 cars declared a "total loss" each year
- In the UK more than 200 vehicles per day are involved in serious accidents.
But they're rather spurious and on their own don't particularly mean a great deal when you're trying to consider whether investing in a product such as GAP Insurance would be a good idea.
So, we've utilised the data published by the Home Office and can now allow you to see car crime figures relating to the area in which you live. We're sure you'll agree that this is far more appropriate when viewed and considered alongside the somewhat generalised statements above.
